North Sea Conference 2026 – Shifting Shores

The North Sea Conference 2026 – Shifting Shores will take place from 1–3 December 2026 in Ostend, Belgium, bringing together researchers working on the environmental and landscape evolution of the North Sea and the English Channel. The conference will address topics including Quaternary subsurface mapping, palaeolandscape reconstruction and geoarchaeology, glacial and periglacial landscapes, past climate and sea-level records, and advances in research and mapping approaches. The event provides a platform for researchers to exchange scientific knowledge, present recent findings and develop collaborations across marine geosciences and related disciplines. Registration is currently available, including reduced rates for students.
