Decade ECOPs

In December 2022, we asked the ECOP Community what UN Ocean Decade Challenges were they working towards, as well as what is is needed to address and overcome these challenges.  We released this campaign to highlight how ECOPs are integral an integral part of the Ocean Decade framework and their perspectives are needed as we transition into the Decade’s third year (2023).

In December 2023, we used this same format to find ECOPs working towards the UN Ocean Decade’s 10 Challenges.  This campaign highlights the diverse geographical and disciplines that some of our ECOP community represent.  We are extremely proud to present them and celebrate the work they are doing towards “the science we need for the ocean we want”.
