RELX Environmental Challenge 2026

The RELX Environmental Challenge is a skill-based competition inviting individuals, teams, or organizations to submit innovative proposals that advance access to safe water and/or sanitation where access is at risk, OR contribute to ocean health, marine ecosystem protection, or ocean-based environmental sustainability and resilience. Two prizes of US$75,000 each (one for clean water/sanitation category, one for ocean category) are awarded to launch or scale the winning proposals. Judging criteria include replicability, scalability, sustainability, practical applicability, equity of access, stakeholder involvement, and local/community engagement. Shortlisted candidates present to an expert panel; winners announced in or after October 2026.
