MBARI Postdoctoral Fellowships in Oceanography, Marine Biology & Deep-Sea Science

The Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute (MBARI) is accepting applications for its two-year postdoctoral fellowship, open to researchers of all nationalities who completed a PhD within the past three years in oceanography, marine science, biology, chemistry, engineering, or a related field. Fellows receive an annual stipend of approximately $82,000, plus a dedicated research and travel budget, comprehensive health benefits, and direct access to MBARI’s research vessels and advanced ocean technology. Research areas include biological, chemical, and biogeochemical oceanography, marine ecology, marine robotics and autonomous systems, ocean engineering, sensor technology, and marine geology. International applicants receive visa sponsorship support, and continuation into the second year depends on satisfactory first-year research progress.
