Formation and management of a Consortium of sub-Saharan African institutions for the co-design, development and operation of applications using ocean forecasts in the framework of the OPERA project

The OPERA project call supports the creation and management of a consortium of Sub-Saharan African institutions to co-design, develop, and operate applications based on ocean forecasting data. The selected consortium will develop solutions using ocean prediction services to support sustainable ocean management, governance, and regional priorities. The initiative aims to strengthen African capacities in ocean forecasting, promote knowledge and technology sharing, and contribute to the development of Regional Centres of Excellence linked to global ocean observing and prediction efforts.
