Symposium on Climate Change in the Asia-Pacific Region: Challenges, Actions and Perspectives

To effectively address climate change in the Asia-Pacific region, adopting a multi-pronged approach that combines emissions reduction with strategies to enhance resilience to the unavoidable consequences of climate change is necessary. Achieving these objectives requires international cooperation, financial assistance, and active involvement of local communities and traditional knowledge.
The event is organized by Seoul National University (Korea), the Sustainable Development and Climate Change Management Research and Transfer Centre at the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences in Germany, and the Chair of Environment and Technology at Manchester Metropolitan University, United Kingdom.
It is supported by the International Climate Change Information and Research Programme (ICCIRP) and will be undertaken in cooperation with various other organizations.
