Call for SOOS Scientific Steering Committee Nominations

SCOR and SCAR invite nominations for membership on the Southern Ocean Observing System (SOOS) Scientific Steering Committee (SSC). The committee guides the implementation of SOOS activities and supports coordination of international Southern Ocean observing and research efforts. Selected members will contribute to scientific planning, working groups, capability development, and international collaboration related to Southern Ocean science and observing systems. The call encourages nominations from diverse disciplinary, geographic, gender, and career-stage backgrounds, including under-represented groups in polar and ocean sciences.
