Luis Porto is an Early Career Ocean Professional in Faro, Southern Portugal.
He is the lead graphic designer and videographer for Centro Ciência Viva do Algarve (CCVALG); an organisation with 25 years of experience of transmitting scientific and technological knowledge to children and young people, in a playful way through hands-on experiences.
Luis is currently working on Pr’Oceano – A project part of the Algarve Regional Operational Program (CRESC ALGARVE 2020) exploring “Protecting the Ocean: Why and How?” The project’s overall goal is to develop a total of 9 innovative digital didactic resources, including 36 different themes, dedicated to the Ocean for the vocational education and training of the courses taught in the Algarve region, allowing the strengthening of skills in this area of knowledge as well as development in Information and Communication Technology.
