R/V Falkor (too) Ship-Time Access — Expressions of Interest

Schmidt Ocean Institute offers free access to its research vessel R/V Falkor (too), including onboard lab facilities, analytical tools, and up to 25 science party berths, for collaborative, multidisciplinary ocean research across seven priority areas (seafloor mapping, biodiversity, ocean health, physical oceanography, deep exploration, emerging technologies, and human impacts). Expressions of Interest are accepted on a rolling basis, reviewed twice yearly; the institute is currently welcoming EOIs for expeditions from 2029 onward. Investigators cover their own salary, travel, and analysis costs.
