OTN Equipment Loan Program

The Ocean Tracking Network loans acoustic telemetry equipment (VR2W, VR2AR, VR2Tx, VR2AR-X, VMT receivers, and Ascent releases) to academic, government, community/non-profit, and industry researchers worldwide for aquatic animal tracking projects aligned with OTN’s global collaborative data-sharing network. Applicants submit an initial service request followed by a formal loan application; review takes a minimum of two months, and requests for more than five units go through an external Deployment Committee.
