Free Global Learning Modules

Blue Futures Pathways (SOI Foundation), endorsed by the UN Ocean Decade, offers free, self-paced online modules for youth (15–35) and educators around the world. These interactive modules explore core areas of the Sustainable Blue Economy, including marine water, freshwater, wastewater, the cryosphere (ice), marine transportation, and sustainable blue economy thinking. Through a mix of case studies, videos, quizzes, and reflective exercises that are grounded in both Western science and Indigenous Knowledge, participants also learn about real career pathways in the blue-economy sectors. To access the content, you need to register for free via their portal in either English or French.
