8th International Marine Conservation Congress (IMCC8)

The 8th International Marine Conservation Congress (IMCC8) is a global conference bringing together marine scientists, conservation practitioners, policymakers, educators, students, journalists, and community leaders to advance science-based solutions for ocean conservation. Held in Edinburgh, Scotland, the congress provides opportunities to share research, exchange knowledge, build professional networks, and strengthen collaboration across science, policy, management, and community engagement. The programme includes plenary sessions, symposia, workshops, posters, and networking activities focused on the theme “Marine Science for the Planet and its Peoples.” Early registration is open until 31 July 2026.
