12th WESTPAC International Marine Science Conference & 3rd UN Ocean Decade Regional Conference

The 12th WESTPAC International Marine Science Conference, held jointly with the 3rd UN Ocean Decade Regional Conference, will take place 20–23 April 2027 in Manila, the Philippines, bringing together Member States, research institutions, government agencies, UN agencies, and civil society working on ocean science across the Western Pacific region. Scientific session abstracts and Young Scientist Award applications are due by 15 November 2026. Early Career Ocean Professionals (ECOPs) can apply for dedicated travel grants to attend, with applications also due by 15 November 2026, helping broaden participation from researchers who would otherwise face financial barriers to attending.
